Premium quilting cotton fabric begins with a higher thread count and is made using a more complex dying/printing process. This type of quilting material is more expensive to produce and purchase. I loved working with the fabrics from this collection. HOWEVER! the free pattern that accompanied the collection not so much. I am 72 yrs of age and have been around the sewing block a few times. This pattern looks like it accomodates directional fabrics, but beware! It was only due to my yrs. of experience that I was able to make it happen. Lots of wasted fabric with this project.

Fabulous Lori Holt Hometown fabric kit!

I had purchased the Lori Holt Hometown embroidery pattern and was not looking forward to curating all the needed fabric. I googled kits and found this wonderful shop. Delivery was fast and the shop owner included a handwritten thank you note, along with a stylus/pen and a lovely heart pin! Very impressed and will purchase from Justin Fabric again!
